Black Panther is a sci-fi movie. Everyone loves the movie. Almost all the parts of the movie relates to our lives. Sometimes, it is not about you sitting down to watch a movie but it is about you gaining something from it. Kudos to the blacks in it, I hope to feature in one of the Marvel’s movies.
Now, let me tell you something little about the movie. It is about an African country which was regarded to as a ‘third world developing country’, that is a derogatory description because they weren’t what people thought they were, in fact, it was an over developed country. The Wakandans knew they had all it takes to rule the world but they were so humble and they lived in peace. I think that’s a very smart idea, be humble. You don’t need people to know much about you or else they’d attack you. Sometimes, you need to surprise people.
Another thing, don’t kill someone who thinks he’s better than you. Lol, that’s hard but it is better to win him over to your sid, merge your skills with his, learn from each other and be better. When T’challa was to be crowned king, M’baku protested and decided to fight against T’challa and described him as a weak person. They fought and the T’challa had the opportunity to kill him but he didn’t, instead, he reminded him of his duties and his reputation in the kingdom. He woke him up to the reality of life and won him over.later in the movie; he and his troops rescued the king, protected the king’s mother and his sister and fought for the king during the war.
Use what you have around you to build yourself. The princess Shuri, a 16-year old girl, smart beautiful girl with an innovative spirit and an innovative mind was filled with the knowledge of technology because she had the raw products around her despite being a princess. So sometimes, break away from the norm and use the raw materials around you to be successful.
Don’t be held in bondage, free yourself! When the villain, Erik was about to die, the king offered to help him but he requested to be thrown into the ocean the same way his ancestors did because they knew death was better than bondage. Now, I’m not saying that death should be a next option but you should break free from any form of bondage. Be strong enough to walk away from it.
Help others. The king’s supposed ex-girlfriend, Nakia, was a spy and an undercover. She begins the film fighting for the chibok girls in Nigeria. She even had to learn to speak Hausa. She was gifted and she used her gift to help others. What about you?
Lastly, do not underestimate the girl power! You all saw what Okoye did to the Balogun W’kabi, the head of security for the border Tribe during the war. Lol. That’s a girl’s power and I like that!
And that’s all I can say about Black Panther. If you haven’t seen the movie, relax, the movie would come to you either through DVD, Xender or go to the cinema.
That’s the only movie I can recommend for you at this moment.
Thanks for reading. Thanks to Tolu for the inspiration. WAKANDA FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
